Carol Ann Tomlinson gives an overview of differentiation and includes tricks, tips, and templates to help even a beginner get started. Differentiation SHOULD be a part of every classroom. An excellent resource for teachers and also for parents who want to be able to advocate for their children.

I read this book through as soon as I received it. Tomlinson is well-respected in her field. Most everything I have read concerns gifted students. This is an excellent resource for ALL students. Differentiation is absolutely necessary in today's classrooms. If all students are to reach their full potential, we must meet them where they are -- and they are all over the place! This book is excellent for anyone who wants to know the basics of Differentiation. I would recommend it to any teacher who is interested in individualized instruction for students. Also, this book gives some very important insights on curriculum objectives.
