Twilight are hungry for more and they won't be disappointed. In
New Moon, Stephenie Meyer delivers another irresistible combination of romance and suspense with a supernatural twist. The "star-crossed" lovers theme continues as Bella and Edward find themselves facing new obstacles, including a devastating separation, the mysterious appearance of dangerous wolves roaming the forest in Forks, a terrifying threat of revenge from a female vampire and a deliciously sinister encounter with Italy's reigning royal family of vampires, the Volturi. Passionate, riveting, and full of surprising twists and turns, this vampire love saga is well on its way to literary immortality.

I just couldn't stand for them to be apart...I remember how that feels, being in love like that and feeling incomplete without him, so I can relate even if he IS a vampire!! I did enjoy the developing friendship with Jacob, even if she selfishly led him on (she WAS fairly honest with him, I'll give her that). New Moon continues the story of Bella and Edward's relationship and the troubles that they face together or apart. I really want to enjoy these books but that is difficult when I don't like the main character. Bella is moody and self-absorbed through the entire book. She only decides to hang out with Jacob Black at the insistence of Charlie and to feed her need to hear Edward's voice in her head while doing stupid, dangerous things. Bella is very aware of Jacob's feelings for her but decides to use him ...

The Twilight Saga is one of my favorite series--well written and delightful to read. This paperbook version, though still large, is an easier size to hold, particularly while lying down.

I honestly felt that this book had more depth to it than the first book. There was alot of character development going on...almost too much. Because while the characters became more real (by getting to really know them), the plotline didn't really seem to move. At first I thought, "okay, I guess I can get used to Jacob being the focus". And as the book went on I really expected Bella & Jake to hook up. But as the book continued, I realized the string-pulling wasn't going to end. Jake was just going to keep ...

Story keeps getting better...her writing style is okay, a bit annoying at times but good enough.
