- A Starting PointThese strategies are fine for some kids but do not always work. This is a good start but a more comprehensive book currently recommended by school superintendents is Bully-Proofing Children: A Practical, Hands-On Guide to Stop Bullying. An incredible book that has everything a parent or teacher can use to deal with bullies or victims- tips, strategies, scripts, lessons,stories to share with your children and more...highly recommended A+.

- Useful and simpleMy 8 year old son spent about 40 minutes with this book and the next day he and his best friend were using the book's concepts to invent good resposes to insults. That's what I call practical.
