The author covers every aspect that a writer can run into trouble on and includes ways to jump start your writing, and a lexicon. Extremely pleased with this book. It is very through and makes use of all its pages.

It stresses the importance of character development and plot, with sex
being the driving force of the characters, not just a bunch of sex with
no plot. If one is looking for that, then erotica or pornography is the way to go...if the sex scenes are taken out and the story can stand alone,

As a mystery writer, I found it helpful and fascinating, with many insights and useful tips. And there IS information about crafting love scenes, but I really think the book is more valuable than that.
