Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - a singer songwriter for every man
Jene Pitney had a voice that could make you feel that he sang to you alone. His ablity to over dub made his sound bigger and brighter. Over seas he was givin his rightful due on his ablity to sing and take a song and make it his own. When a song came on and you heard his voice you knew who it was. England gave him his due. Spain, Italy and other european countries. I regret that I will never be able to see him again, a giant of music has left us. He will be missed. Thank you for all the music ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Gene Pitney - what a classic performer
There are songs on this CD which I don't remember ever hearing before. A new favorite is "Yours Until Tomorrow," written by Carole King/Gerry Goffin. I so regret not being able to see Gene Pitney in a live performance before he died several years ago. What a fantastic voice he had. This CD is quite wonderful, and has 25 tracks on it - a long one!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Just Great!

He wrote, produced such great songs like, "I Wanna Love My Life Away","Every Breath I Take". He took Buddy Holly's belief that rock and roll + a sense of vocal ease could make ... Read More
