I OWN ALL OF HIS CD'S AND HE IS THE BEST SINGER AND SONGWRITER AROUND ITS TO BAD THAT GOD TOOK HIM SO SOON. HE WILL BE DEEPLY MISSED HE PASSED AWAY APRIL 22, 2008 ONE DAY AFTER HIS 60TH BIRTHDAY. THE WORLD HAS LOST A GREAT HUMAN BEING. REST IN PEACE PAUL. YOUR SONGS WILL LIVE ON. HE'S THE BEST EVER BUT ALWAYS BEEN A HUGE FAN EVEN THOUGH I AM HIS COUSIN. RIP.

I bought 'Sweet Life- His Greatest Hits" in December, 2008 and then bought two other cds. The quality of the cds is great. I remember hearing most of these tunes played on the radio in the late 70's & 80's and then sort of forgot about them until I heard "Cool Night" on the radio last fall. I love these songs. He had a fabulous voice and was a great songwriter. Paul Davis died recently, (4-22-08), one day after his 60th birthday, of a heart attack.

This is a good compilation of his hits. I bought it mainly for my old favorite, "Cool Night".

I remembered most of the songs on here well, and even enjoyed the country songs (which are not normally my cup of tea). This album is a wonderul, hidden gem from a gentler, kinder era. Listening to it ...

This c.d. is a wonderful compilation of Paul Davis's work and includes an insert that contains interesting synopsis of each song. However, the sound quality of this c.d. is atrocious! It's hard to believe that the company let something as bad as this be sold on their label.
