The Rapid Ice sleeve is like putting your wine bottle in a super-cold ice jacket. Taken from the freezer and slipped up over your bottle, it brings the temperature down 15 Degrees F in five minutes. And once chilled, the bottle stays that way for hours.

- Useful but not as versatile as one might wantI think this is a fairly good product.
I haven't used it that much.
Pros: You just put a sleeve in the freezer, so it doesn't take up much room and you don't use up all your ice chilling wine. And it doesn't make the bottle all wet.
Cons:
Black plastic looks a bit cheap. I think the chrome one looks better.
The sleeve will only fit a standard wine bottle. Any bottle that is a bit wider (like champagne) will not fit.

I took a room temp bottle and used the ice pack that I froze for several days, & tried to chill the wine. After sitting for about 20 mins, it was barely cool. The ad does not mention anything about a freezer chiller sleeve coming with it, so I ordered a pkg of (2). I now ended up with (3) since the ad was not DETAILED enough.

- Keeps the wine chilledI wouldn't expect this to really chill a bottle of wine, but it's sure handy to put over a bottle while it sits on the table. It keeps the wine chilled while sitting out.

- Good for keeping pre-chilled wine coldThis product works well for keeping an already chilled bottle cool at the table. Ours won't chill a bottle of white wine from room temperature to drinking temperature. It would probably work well for bringing a bottle of room temperature red wine down to cellar temperature. Our only freezer is the one in our refrigerator. It would probably work better if frozen in a chest type freezer kept at a lower temperature.
