Most of us have become masters of multitasking--answering phones, checking e-mail, and reading simultaneously, and Corningware follows suit with dishes designed for the microwave, oven, tabletop, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Corningware's French White bakeware combines the functionality of classic designs with contemporary styling. This 2-1/2-quart round baking dish is ideal for pastas, casseroles, or meats, and features a glass lid with an easy-to-grasp handle (but as with all Corningware and other ceramic or glass bakeware, you'll always need to use potholders when handling the dish or its lid). The dish itself has no handles; however, its impressive 10-year warranty (one year on the glass lid) more than compensates for this shortcoming. --Ariel Meadow Stallings

- Good casserole dishIt arrived quickly and intact. The lid seems fine although it's not a tight fit it works fine. A very pretty dish, it serves my purposes well. I intend to buy more in different sizes to round out my serving collection. I can't afford a more expensive crockery serving set and the French White Corelle serving dishes are both pretty and inexpensive.

- Made in ChinaI was glad to find this 2 1/2 qt round Casserole on the internet. I live only a few hours from the Corning Factory and wanted to purchase this name brand to help the local economy. I was dissapointed when I took the bowl out of the box and discovered it was made in China! It isn't mentioned on the Website or on the box.
It's a pretty good Casserole dish if you don't mind supporting China's economy.
