Made out of the same heavy-gauge aluminum as Calphalon's hard-anodized cookware, this handsome ceiling-mounted rack puts your pots and pans on display, keeps them within quick reach, and frees up cabinet space, all at the same time. The oval shape is perfect over a cooking island; it's a space-saving solution that actually enhances your kitchen's décor. (Also, the pans don't rub or scrape against one another, which minimizes damage to your valuable investment.) Calphalon's patented pot rack hooks can support up to 60 pounds each. They slide freely up and down the rack but won't come off when you reach for a pan. The rack itself is easy to assemble with simple household tools, but Calphalon recommends professional installation. Maybe that's why this kit does not include mounting hardware, although it does come complete with hanging chains. - Not enough hooks!The pot rack is very similar in both design, appearance and function ability to the professional version. It looks great and does the job very well. The only criticism I have is that this pot rack is big enough for 20 pots and pans or more. Why does it come with only 6 hooks? That's ridiculous.

- Looks great - great with pendant lightsWe have pendant lights that hang 42 ish inches apart over our big kitchen island, which made it tough for me to find a ceiling pot rack that would work...so I put it off. This one is perfect (the lights drop down within the ends of rack), and once you find your ceiling joists with a stud funder (important!) it's easy to install. We're very happy. It's actually pretty light (key since our pots are heavy.)

- Love itI installed it in about an hour. Bought 4 screw-in eyelets and chain link connectors to attach to the ceiling joists at 4 points. It hangs above the island in our kitchen. We can hang all our heavy Calphalon pots/pans on it. I couldn't exactly center it over the island due to where the joists were located, but it's OK. I'm going to chance the old lighting above the island so this isn't as noticable.
I got this from CulteryAndMore because Amazon wouldn't match their lower price.
