- Great collection!I love this collection. I'm more of a hard rock fan but this stuff brings back some great 80's memories. Time after time and True colors reminds me of high school and the girl friend and friends I had then that have all since moved away or just lost touch. Great music like this moves us to reflect and think. Some of it makes me sad but good music does that.
Also, I like to support artists who are cool and not too full of themselves...Cindy seems like a cool chick to hang out with.

- She bopped and floppedCyndi Lauper was an icon of 1980's MTV generation hooray of fake importance. "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun", written by Robert Hazard as a wry comment on sexual mores was uptossed upturned and confetti celebrated as an anthem for pre-adolecent girls wanting to wear colorful clothes and kinda rebel at the same time.
Cyndi had much more in mind. She was in a recored band "Blue Angel" that sold nothing. She found herself in finding song writers that fit her fairy tale. A classic 1980's LP/Cass/CD ... Read More

- The Eseential Cyndi lauperMs. lauper had the look, the style, and the pipes to be a major force in the 1980's. At the time, I thought she was going to outdo Madonna, but she was not as driven and her career sputterred, even though she still has a loyal fan base to this day. If you like Cyndi, this is the best collection to have.

- Absolutely EssentialThis is a great collection of Cyndi's music. I was going to buy She's So Unusual but this album had all the great songs from that CD along with a couple of extra great songs from other albums and singles. Cyndi's music is fantastic and plays well even today (although I am biased as I grew up listening to She's So Unusual, watching her videos, and loving The Goonies). You won't regret buying this CD ... guaranteed!
