- Cute little bugger...I use this product to cook steel cut oats the easier, better way. (Usually it involves standing at the range, stirring for at least 30 minutes.)
Before bedtime I spray inside with canola oil, add water, steel cut oats, fruit, oat bran, cinnamon, almonds, etc. put the lid on and plug it into the timer already set up in the outlet.

- Absolutely greatThe little dipper is absolutely great! I make oatmeal every night for my breakfast. I pour water and l/4 cup oatmeal into the dipper - plug it in and in the morning - perfect oatmeal. It doesn't matter whether it cooks 8 hours, l2 hours or more. It is always perfect and I don't have to worry about fires or overheating.

I liked my old one, even though the crock didn't come out of the pot holder, which made cleaning difficult, and the control was overly simple. Get rid of it and get a new one, came the command from my wife. OK, I could go along with that. And while I was at it, I picked up the Little Dipper Crock-Pot. - Great for Bean Dip!This is a luxury product! However, if you wanna keep your bean dip hot while you shovel down nacho flavored corn chips, the Little Dipper is the ticket! The instructions are explicit: it requires a full 30 minutes to come up to temperature! That aside, this is a neat little product. Get one for Gramps or for Gramma!
