Editorial Review:

Product Description:
This covered saute pan has a thick base, which allows you to cook your food in an evenly heated pan with less heat than a thinner base would permit. Other features include a heat-tempered glass lid, a heat-resistant handle, and a nonstick Ceramic Titanium interior surface that is safe for use with metal utensils and won't crack, peel, or blister. The saucepan is oven-safe to 500 degrees.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Overrated and Not So Non-stick Pan
We got a large sauce pan, 1 small and 1 medium size fry pans.
I was very excited the first time we got our Scanpans. I read about the new technology surrounding this product that supposedly to be non-stick for many years. Now, we only have the big sauce pan left. We have to throw away the 2 fry pans.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Expensive but worth it
I unexpectedly bought one of these five or six years ago. I had done my research in Consumer Reports and was looking for a pan in the $40 range, but a saleswoman at an upscale kitchen store sold me on the Scanpan. My wife couldn't believe that I had spent $120 on the thing, but now, years later, we are both very happy with our Scanpan. It's smooth and heavy and works perfectly, no matter what food we're preparing.

A couple of years ago we bought a sauce pan from the same company ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - I bought for glass top stove
I have several pieces along with the stainless steel versions. I had a new glass stove top and you need to have completely flat bottomed pans and after investigating I found Scanpan was the only really flat pans and were recommended for my stove top. They clean easily. Heavy pans (especially the stainless). Very satisfied.
