Editorial Review:Amazon.com:Recorded in late 1987, his hour-long concert documents a transitional period for Fleetwood Mac, with Lindsey Buckingham, their driving force, having left (until '97) that same year. It's a testament to Buckingham's role in the band that it took two guitarist-singers to replace him; but while Billy Burnette and Rick Vito are fine musicians with an abiding respect for the Mac legacy (they perform founding member Peter Green's "Oh Well" and "I Loved Another Woman"), this is a mostly lackluster affair, lacking Buckingham's fire and eccentric stage presence. Mainstays Mick Fleetwood and John McVie soldier on, as ever, with Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie still on hand as well, and
Rumours-era tunes like "Dreams," "Don't Stop," and "The Chain" have a certain timeless appeal. But when a vest equipped with drum and percussion sounds is the highlight of the show (during Fleetwood's solo spot), you know you're not exactly witnessing history in the making.

this DVD sucks the big one. How can you release this garbage...the editing is terrible, and Lindsey Buckingham was not touring with the band, so no Buckingham hits, which the reviewer below me says all the big hits from Tango are here...WTF where's Big Love you fool? Fleetwood missed Lindsey's guitar, vocals and songs moreso than Christie McVie's vocals and songs, and this is just a pathetic release.

In this WONDERFUL and MEZMORIZING concert of Fleetwood Mac at the Cow Palace in San Francisco...they sing all of the hits from the " Tango In The Night" album....although Lindsay Buckingham is not present, this concert is electrifying with the guitarists Rick Vito and Billy Burnette delivering the Fleetwood Mac sound like never before...

After having bought the Tango in the Night concert, I regret ignoring the reviews already posted saying it's not that good. It's not Fleetwood Mac at it's best, and the editing is very distracting. The Mirage or Dance concert are much better!

This is a one hour video that was originally released on VHS. Like many of the DVD conversions from VHS, there are no extras on this DVD. The sound is in stereo only, with no 5.1 option. All you get is a menu of the songs. The video quality is pretty good, but not high definition digital video.
On the plus side, the filming of this concert is much better than most newer concert DVD's. Most new concert DVD's are poorly filmed for a quick and cheap release. On newer concert DVD's ...

I think everyone who typed a review that said this is a bad show are CRAZY!!!!! I mean! Stevie looks beautiful and sings great through out the whole concert. Mick, John, and Christine do their thing and that's that! But to me I think Rick Vito and Billy Burnette are a little... I don't know. Weird I guess. I think they both flirt with Stevie a couple of times on this concert. That's just my opinion.
The Chain- Excellent! Stevie sounds great!!
Everywhere- I think this was recorded at one ...
