This wine cooler exceeded my expectations. I wanted something simple, yet elegant, that can be placed on the dining table.

This nifty little stainless wine cooler is just what the doctor ordered. The freezer pack is removal able and flattens for storage in the freezer. The bottom of the cooler unscrews to allow the freezer pack to drop right out (make sure it is screwed in tight so the wine bottle doesn't inadvertently drop out).

We live in a warm climate, and this cooler is perfect for keeping pre-chilled whites nice and cool all through dinner when we dine outside. I was disappointed in this item because it has no insulation. For me the greater need is to keep a bottle cool thruout the meal. This will do that OK, but then don't expect it to cool down that second bottle you had not planned on drinking. I'm planning to keep my eye out for one of those foam covers people use on beer bottles, but in a size big enough for wine bottles.
