- Great replacementI have a vintage multispeed Sears blender that is still going strong. When the original glass jar cracked I was faced with replacing the whole blender. I even went shopping for new ones and found they didn't measure up to the robustness or design of the old Sears. When I came across this replacement assembly I was happy. - I'm thrilled!All Oster parts (even though some were made in Mexico), and my 30-year old blender is a new machine! The blades get dull after years of constant use (duh), the gasket wears out (no wonder it was leaking), so I almost sprang for one of those fancy expensive ones I read about recently in one of my cooking mags. All I needed was a couple of replacement parts for my trustworthy old Osterizer, and now it will last probably longer than I do!

- The color of the lid was different from a picture. It wasn't black and was white.I wanted both of a white lid and a black lid.
A lid of the accessory saw a picture, and was black, so though a white lid was bought additionally intentionally, it's different from a picture, and something white has also reached a lid of the accessory.
In the long run there were no lids with a black white lid. To the extent I'd like to complain.

- Everything was greatEverything arrived safely and in great condition. It works great on my old (I'm tallking '70's) Sears blender motor.

- OK - but not originalIt seems to work fine, but it is not original Oster. The original screw on base does not fit the new jar. Also, the plastic top is white, not black.
