- Great StringsI stumbled onto these by accident at a small music store that does well to have picks. I bought them and put them on my National Style O resonator which I play with bare fingers. The sound and the ease of playing was drastic. The sound is clear and the volume fantastic. My fingers slide off of the slightly slippery coating with ease and although it may be wishfull thinking, I think I play faster with fewer mistakes. - Good strings! Easy on the hands!Silk & Steel have a reputation of being "easy to play". My friend recommended these strings to me, and I went out and bought a set.
They are very easy to play, and the sound of the strings complements my cedar and rosewood guitar really well! They stay in tune very regularly and are awesome for those who are wanting to have a more fingerstyle approach.
They have a more melodic, less twangy, but not "dull" sound. I'll be playing these ones for quite a while.

- Best Acoustic Strings ever!-These are by far the best strings I have ever used on my Fender DG-19 Acoustic. They offer a unique look and feel plus plenty of play on the fret board and the sweetest sound. No other strings will do it for me or my baby.
-A buddy of mine lent me an old Martin a while back that sounded like crap. I restrung it with these babies breathing new life into its beat down sad soul. He is also a convert.
