- Great stringsThese are a cross between extra light and light guage strings. Having experimented with the same or similiar gauge strings in other brands I have settled on these. They are better than the coated strings for sure. I don't care how long they last, because they sound so good. The feel is way better than the old comparatively "sticky" sets available 30 years ago.
