- Long lasting strings...I have found the many of the same things to be true as the previous reviewer. If you want a brighter Elixir, they also make NanoWeb versions with a lighter coating. They do wear out quicker though.

- It depends...There's NO SUCH THING as a "best string". From experimenting over the years, I've found that, while I have "old standbys" that will be the first thing I try, often there is a string that is just right for a particular guitar and it varies from guitar to guitar.
