- Functional and great at minimizing greaseI bought this product in Target several years ago. I love that you suspend the bacon and the fat just drips off in the receptacle below. I had a problem with the "T" inserts though. 2 of them broke when trying to pull them out. With one, the base of the "T" broke off and remained in the hole so that slot was unusable. - It's okay - glad I got itIt's a decent product. We're bacon eaters, so it's much easier than frying or turning on the oven. Bacon does stick together at the ends when it's cooking, so you have bacon 'circles' when it's time to eat. Much easier clean up than traditional frying/broiling methods.

- sure beats the frying pan !Mak'n Bacon is a good product which works as expected. cooking is much faster, taste about the same, and clean-up a lot quicker than if using a frying pan.
with my 1000w microwave, i make 4-6 slices in 2-3 minutes. with a paper towel covering, oven splatter is minimal, and washing the unit is easy, though some drippings need persuasion.
