Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - good, but the fisher price one is better!
I got this for my daugher from ebay (came with some extras, like the add-on conservatory). I think it is nice looking, and we definitely play with it quite a lot. BUT I think that even if you play with Playmobil people every day, as we do, the Fisher Price Loving Family dollshouse is superior as a home for them. (we also have that, bought in a thrift shop). Several advantages: first, no assembly, whereas the playmobil one, as others have noted, takes a long time to put together, and won't stay ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Best dollhouse, but buy super glue
I did research on pretty much all dollhouses on the market. The playmobil ended up being the favorite due to looks, quality (reputation), and spacious rooms. It is a great dollhouse BUT, it will not stay together unless you super glue it. We bought this for our 4 year old daughter last Christmas. On Christmas Day, it fell apart at least 3 times by someone barely brushing by it. We were not happy to have to super glue it, especially considering the cost, but once we did... we were very happy!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - I love it, but it will not stay together!
I am very disappointed because normally Playmobil quality cannot be beat! The attic especially is very tricky to assemble, and the construction is very fragile. The attic falls apart on a regular basis. It is also very easy to shift the house from the base. I even tried adding some drops of glue to hold it together, but it didn't last either. I am going to try to use a couple drops of Super Glue in various point to see if it will stay together then. My kids love it, but they are extremely frustrated ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - a little girls dream house
This is a fantastic doll house. My kids just love playing with it. There are so many ways to decorate and rearrange this house. They especially have fun decorating it for the different holidays. They love it so much we got the third floor extension and the add on stairs. It is well made and easy to put together. It only took me about an hour and half to put it together but to be fair we have many Playmobil toys so I am well schooled. This is a doll house that any girl would love.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Beautiful but a big pain
The roof caves in on a regular basis, it is not very sturdy, whoever thought of that design wasn't thinking clearly. Keep in mind, this dollhouse takes a LONG time to put together, you even have to put the flowers together before putting them in the window boxes! Lots and lots of tiny pieces. However, because of that, those flowers have also become cookies and other imaginative things. I would never buy this if you have a baby or toddler in the house! Major choking hazard even if you're really careful ... Read More
