The hinge area which is the most prone to break in these type of products seem sturdy enough to stand up to continual use. The juicer works well if you follow the fool proof directions and don't try to use it for fruits it wasn't meant to be used for.

I have had great luck with this juicer -- easily broke two plastic ones previously and I was discouraged. This item is very sturdy and has not shown any signs of bending or breaking despite my best squeezing efforts. Highly recommended...

I first used a citrus press like this at one of those places where you prepare meals in advance and then take them home to freeze and serve later. After having used and broken more than one lemon press, I feel entirely confident that such a fate will not befall the Norpro press. This puppy gets it done! I am very, very impressed with the ease of use (squeezes out every last drop) and the ease of cleaning (just pop in the dishwasher, comes out gleaming). I cannot recommend this press enough. It's the one.

This press did a good job. I do wish the bowl was bigger so it would fit the larger lemons and limes. I have found I need to cut the ends off and then cut them in half before squeezing. It is a good product for it's size and price.
