- Just okthese spatulas work fine but you have to be careful what you use them on. The large purple one got all stained when I used it to clean out the bowl containing my sauce for lasagna. I have others that don't do this.

It doesn't bother me at all the head and handle are separate pieces because I haven't had them come apart during use at all and I have used these often. I do not put mine in the dishwasher though and perhaps that is where the problem is - maybe the heat from repeated dishwasher use causes them to contract and loosen. - Not very sturdyI wanted spatulas with a silicone handle so I could put them in the dishwasher. The ones with wooden handles have to be handwashed, and that can be a pain. These are heat resistant and dishwasher safe, but not at all sturdy. The heads of the spatulas are too soft and bend a little too much, and they also slide off of the handles. - DON'T LICK THE FROSTING OFF THESE SPATULASLeaves a chemical after-taste if you like to lick the frosting off the spatula. Having said that, these spatulas do work very well, don't stain and don't cost too much.
