Maestro Abbado's final European concert with the Berlin Orchestra from
Palermo was wonderful like most of their performances together over the
past years. The audience must have been aware of the situation and
called back the Maestro for a final bow even after the players had left
the stage. you could feel the warmth and love for the man.

Oh, how I wish every concert DVD was made this well. Beautifully recorded sound and extremely well directed and edited visuals of the individual musicians and their hands.
This is a masterpiece. If you have a home theater, buy it today.

Gil Sham's play was exellent as I have ever listened to. The combination between Abaddo and Berliner Philharmoniker made me a special comfatable space and time.
