- Great Product for '06 GTThe installation was relatively easy, but required some way of raising the car in order to reach the undercarriage. Unbolting the stock shifter and bolting in the new shifter was a matter of unscrewing 3 nuts and 1 bolt. Changing out the shifter itself wasn't as difficult as reaching certain parts underneath the car. - Hurst Short Throw in '05 Mustang GT This shifter is great. I like how each gear clicks into place and how the move from 2nd to 3rd is foolproof. Highly recommend for 5 speed!

- Hurst Competition/Plus Short Throw ShifterI installed the Hurst Shifter into my 2005 Mustang GT. It was easy to install and it made such a difference when shifting. It is more like the looks and feel of the old muscle cars, when they had the Hurst 4 speeds. The short throw distance between gears is such an improvement over the stock shifter, and it looks so much better.

- great 06 mustang upgradeThis was a very simple installation(less than two hours)and the product is great. The difference it makes is remarkable and really adds to the original nostalgic look and feel of yester-year. I am very satisfied with the application and the quality of the product.

- Exellent upgrade to the stock shifter. If you never used a short throw shifter, I recommend you give it a try. It's throw is so much shorter than the stock shifter that once you use it you will think the stock shifter felt like rowing a boat. The quality is excellent. The installation is a bit of a chore so if you aren't mechanically inclined I recommend you have it installed professionally. If you are used to doing things yourself, you can get it installed in 1 - 2 hours.
