- Works but is VERY directionalI recently purchased this to increase the wireless signal within a 2-story building that has numerous walls in between the modem on the second floor and the computers on the first floor. With this antenna, I'm able to boost the wireless signal from about 50% to about 65% as long as the antenna is pointed at exactly the right location. A few degrees up/down/left/right will tend to decrease the amount of signal by a few percent.
