I've owned this camera for some time now and have found it to be an outstanding camera in every way. I have not written a review on it until now. Yesterday I fell into a stream in the Great Smokey Mountains while filming grandchildren. Need I say I thought it was "history" for the camera. To make a long story short, in between a few emails to Canon's very good custmer support, I found a way to return the camera for possible repair when I returned home. The HV10 produces some great video. Fits my hand well and is easy to use. It uses the older DV tapes, but still has great video quality.
