Well, unsurprisingly, it's brilliant. Frustrating and hence hard to listen to but brilliant. Alone out of everyone on the planet, I get the feeling Perry's voice in the end brought him no joy at all. This CD was so much better than I thought it would be. There is variety in the types of songs and shows how his work has evolved over the years. Steve Perry has explained some of the background for the groups of songs, giving more reasoning into why those were chosen. I actually enjoyed the songs that had never before been released more than some of the "greatest hits." If someone wants to buy one Steve Perry CD, this is the one to buy.

Steve Perry. That voice that goes deep down into your heart and changes you with each and every note. He's such a powerful singer. I have followed him for years. When he does those looooooonnnnnggg (long) notes no other singer comes close. He makes it sound so easy. Keep on singing STEVE PLEASE!!!

He also changed the scarab theme and proposed name "Freedom" to that goofy "Raised on Radio" album. Sorry Steve, but you could have had it made if your ego hadn't gotten in the ...
