One Last Time! " Farewell Tour. - Barry Manilow - First and FarwellGreat DVD for Barry Manilow fans. It is fun to look back at how Barry first started and then go forward to his final concert. He is truly a talent and even better to watch as the years have gone by.

DVD #1 is the first rehearsal at Carroll's Studio, in November 1974. It's a great show and is something like watching a home movie in visual presentation. The music is great though.
DVD #2 (about 1 hour 49 minutes) begins with a brief history commentary by Barry, in his home studio I believe, telling about this "final" tour. The DVD then opens in concert, at The Pond, Anaheim, California, November 2004, with Barry saying a few words again ... Read More

- Vocal blunders and no Donna Summer duet.I love Barry's music but I was surprised that he allowed this important Farewell DVD to be released with so many vocal mistakes - it probably would have been easy enough to tape a couple of shows and then just edit them together. His charm, energy and catalog of great music saves him for the most part here but during some of his live performances his voice was weak and off key and he messed up on some notes. Ouch! Hey, it's a live recording and it happens, but because of a "Farewell" DVD's sense of permanancy ... Read More
