This is a good tool to practice guitar with headphones.
The Bad:
The tones are not good by any stretch of the imagination, unless you like hyper-distorted noise. The cleans sound artificial and the crunch tones have obvious digital distortion applied. The effects are hit and miss as well. Plate reverb is decent but spring reverb is so artificial sounding that it's downright offensive.

- Nice Variety of sounds, only bad thing is powerThis thing is great for practicing with head phones. The wide variety of sounds make for a more authentic practice session (so when you're playing U2 songs, you don't sound like ACDC and vice versa) and makes practicing more fun.

- Another cool product from line 6!Years from now Line 6 will likely be viewed as a revolutionary company. This mini Pocket POD is a very cool transportable guitar effect generator you can take with you when you don't want to drag an amp around. I haven't used it to record with yet but I'm sure it matches the lean mean sounds of the standard POD. My only complaint is that the controls operate differently from the original POD so you have to relearn how to use it.
