- Budget Microphones for KaraokeI also run Karaoke and I read the reviews here before purchasing this set. First of all, they are not Shure beta 58 mics that's true. They also don't cost $600 a peice. They are (for all practical purposes) pretty decent microphones for Karaoke use. I am impressed that they sound as good as they do and I'm not sure how they can produce and sell these mics for that cheap of a price. - Just okayI bought these microphones to compliment a Shure wireless microphone that I borrowed from our church for a large anniversary party. These mics weren't even in the same ballpark, but they worked okay. I had to crank the gain all the way up to hear them when trying to mix with music. But, what do you expect for $40!

- A Great BargainAt first, I had reservations buying this since the price was cheap. However, put to the test, it survived a youth camp bonfire, church services, and many speaking events including some music jams. The distance is pretty good even at 100 feet. Only kink is once in a blue it can pick up interference if someone has a cell phone call in the room.
