Highly recommended for other minimalists like me!

I finally cracked, and moved on from a portable cd-player to a tiny little mp3 player. The Sansa Clip 2GB is perfect for my needs. I have had it for a little over a month, and it goes with me everywhere!

Somehow, the sales clerk talked me into a buying a new one instead of one of the many discounted return/open box Sansa clips. No matter how you organize the files on your desktop, once loaded into the mp3 player it loads songs randomly into it's own folders (artists, songs, genre). Now, after less than a year the battery won't hold a full charge, no matter how long I recharge it. It will only half charge. I will never buy anything from Sandisk again.

While it worked, this was a great product. When I purchased this product I was interested only in an mp3 player (no need for video too) and the Clip looked perfect. My Clip (blue) was used for approximately 2 - 2.5 hours per day during my lunch hour and during my workout. I purchased in mid-January and by late August the battery malfunctioned and refused to power on the player. This my second mp3 player. My first was so complicated I had to throw it out. This one is a breeze. I download to media player, move to sync and transfer. I have music to garden, fly, and walk the dogs. The sound is good. The earphones are okay. The size is perfect.
