Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Samsung VCR DVD Recorder
I am very happy with the product, but the instruction manual is not simple enough to explain titleing and editing. I also wish I could switch my TV to watch regular programming while it is transferring from VHS to DVD.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Piece of JUNK -- Audio/Video Sync Problem
Actually, well designed and easy to use. Unfortunately, when dubbing tape to DVD which is the only use I put it to, the audio and video are severely out of sync. It's going back to Amazon ASAP. I doubt that Amazon will reimburse me for all the trashed DVD blanks. It also got into some sort of loop finalizing the first DVD I made from a 5 hour tape. After 30+ minutes of finalizing, I had to unplug it to stop it. Caveat emptor.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - VHS to DVD dubbing problem - audio out of sync with video
I purchased the DVD-VR375 specifically to dub VHS media to DVD. The VHS content to be dubbed was not professionally produced, copyrighted, or copy-protected content. The DVD-VR375 repeatedly produced DVDs with audio and video streams that were out of sync. The streams were reasonably well synchronized at the beginning of a recording, but drifted farther out of sync as the recording progressed. After the recording reached the 35-40 minute range, the streams were out of sync by nearly a second. ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Major A/V Sync Issues
I bought this to transfer home movies from VHS to DVD. The title says it all, extreme audio and video sync problem. It is off by 5-10 seconds in may instances. I tried many videos and target DVDs and their are all the same.
Junk it is, back it goes.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - don't waste your money
all I wanted to do was to convert my old VHS tapes to DVDs. When I tried, I was informed that the VHS tapes were copyrighted and that I could not do it. The customer service people I called were useless. WHy have this if you cannot convert old VHS tapes to DVDs? I am very disappointed.,
