The A735 is big on features and value, but comes in a slim, trim casing. Its 25mm body contains a 3x optical zoom, 4.5x digital zoom and a 2.5" LCD screen as well as a host of advanced features such as smile detection, blink detection, face detection and in-camera panorama stitching. It is powered by two AA batteries.

- Gift cameraThe camera arrived promptly and complete. However, the camera was bulkier than expected. Specially for a teen girl, which was the actual recipient of this gift.
The camera is not bad for the price, but the features are hard to use(smile detection, etc) and does not work intuitively. Keeping in mind a pink camera will be used mostly by girls, they shoot photos all day long. The batteries do not last long enough for a typical weekend.

- Low price for low qualityI purchased this camera specifically with an upcoming vacation in mind after my old digital camera broke. This camera takes low-quality photos --blurry with poor color. You get what you pay for, I guess. On my second day of vacation, the camera would not turn on. I replaced the batteries with no luck. I had to use a disposeable camera for the rest of the trip since my brand new, two-day old camera died. Needless to say, I returned the camera immediately upon my return. - Decent CameraThis camera is okay overall, but I've had a couple issues with it. I've had this camera for almost a year. The battery life is horrible. This camera doesn't have recargeable batteries, and a two brand new batteries will die out fast. I'll be taking a couple pictures, then ten minutes later, they die. If you leave the batteries in the camera when it's turned off, for some reason they're near dead when you turn it back on less than five minuites later. It can get costly after a while. - good pictures. Bad battery connectionI received this camera 1 week ago and like it very much. It takes sharper pictures than my 3 year old sony cybershot that has 5.1 megapixels. It zoomed well and downloaded like a charm. My only problem was the batteries. It kept telling me my new batteried needed replacing the first time I turned the camera on. - wonderful cameraI bought this camera for my daughter for her 7th birthday. She loves it and absolutely loves that it is pink. It is easy to use and she really enjoys taking videos with it and watching them on the tv. For anyone with a child who is interested in being a shutter bug and wants a good camera that is inexpensive, this is the camera for you.
