- Almost perfectThe size was right. The price was right. The accessories that came with the Magellan Maestro were just what I needed. It took seconds to set up and about 3 hours to fully charge the batteries using the home hookup. I didn't see why you would need a home 110V hookup at first but it allowed me to get on the internet and map out points of interest (POI) into my GPS so in the morning when I was going cross country, it was all charged up and ready to go.

- Better than expectedAfter using the Maestro 4000 for about a month, I am extremely satisfied with it's performance. Though I had used a GPS receiver for hiking and geocaching before, this unit has stronger reception and did what it was designed for, simply and adequately. The only time I really needed the manual was to add multiple destinations to a trip.
