I haven't done any extensive testing of this camera, but everything seems fine. This is similar to my Panasonic DMC-TZ3, with less Zoom (5x) but more memory. The DMC-FX37A is quite slim and the battery charger is small, so it is very handy for travelling. I've used it for candle light photos (with and without the 'candle light scene' exposure preset. Had and lost a panasonic camera before this one. Previous camera had a 10x optical zoom. I am happy to give up the extra zoom. This camera is much smaller...more pocket size, which is nice. Video is so good you would think it is a video camera. Night shots turn out very nice( did a few cityscape shots over a lake). Haven't actually used the camera a lot yet, but previous Lumix camera was really nice....The 25mm is awesome, it is very cool to take a picture of a room and get the whole room.

I bought this fx37 as a complement to my Canon 40D. First - it is small enougt to always bring it along. To get a good picture the first thing you must do is to bring a camera! Most of the time I bring my fx37 instead of my 40D. Second - the wide angle of 24¤ is great. It is easy to get photoes in a room and get most of the room in the picture.
