I bought this wireless doorbell chime because it had some nice features that I can set the volume at my own level (low, medium, or high). Beside that, I can set the ring tone (sound, light, or sound + light). The receiver used 2 AA battery and the transmitter used one 12V battery. - If you want something done right.....The doorbell for my apartment was broken for over a year. I kept missing my UPS Amazon.com deliveries and had to go to the depot to pick them up! What a drag.
