- The best movie about a wierd dude and his cool bike.This is like the wierdest movie ever, hand's down, all around brilliant filmmaking in it's most artistic form. C'mon who would'nt want a bike like that? Nothing could ever reach the genious of this masterpiece. Pee Wee should have won an Oscar for his performance, this was obviously the peak of Tim Burtons career. Pee Wee's Big Adventure is not a movie it's an experience. Highly recommended?????

- A timeless film and fantastic DVDDo I really need to give you the plot of Pee-wee's Big Adventure? Chances are if your reading this you'll already know the movie.
Onto the DVD itself, firstly we get the film in all it's glory with a superb Widescreen Anamorphic (16x9) transfer and a solid English 5.1 Surround Sound and French Mono track.
We also get a feature length commentary by Tim Burton & Paul Reubens, while this isn't a classic commentary by any stretch it's still a fine addition to the DVD. Next we have Danny Elfman's isloated score & commentary in 5.1 Surround Sound which is great quality and provides some interesting insight into the composing of the score.
Continuing the extras we get Deleted Scenes, Storyboards & Sketches, Cast & Crew biogprahies and the Theatrical Trailer.

- Pee-Wee Rules!I loved this movie when I was growing up, and it stands the test of time today. Paul Reubens is simply hilarious as Pee-Wee Herman in search of his stolen bicycle. The absurdity of the events throughout the movie make for laugh after laugh.
The true test was showing this to my own kids, ages six and two. They couldn't get enough of it, and now we're checking out videos from the library of Pee-Wee's Playhouse.

- The Bike Every Kid Dreams Of...Paul Reubens portrays Pee-Wee Herman, an adult looking 10 year old. The premise of the movie is the love affair that Pee-Wee has with his bike, the ultimate dream of any kid. When it's stolen, he launches into a cross country crusade in order to get it back. Along the way he meets all sorts of characters, including Simone, a waitress with dreams of going to Paris, but has a but... 'Every one I know has a big but in their lives. Let's talk about your big but, Simone...' The characters vary, and one way or another, Pee-Wee seems to charm them all. It's a fun show, but fast-forward through the Tim Burton, 'Pee-Wee has a bad dream' sequence. that one part makes the show a little less credible. A fun show for all ages.
