Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Heart - Greatest Hits: 1985-1995
I was thrilled to get this recording because I have their original VCR from 1985 that I love. The newer numbers I wasn't that impressed with. So, my purchase was basically to take them with me when I travel in my car, and relive their original hits.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Shame on you for enjoying this!
In this album you find a good list of rock ballads from the 80's. That songs are "The Piece" of the rock history that some times you are shame to remember, but are part of your own history.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent collection of their '80s/90s hits
I think that Heart had a great run of hits from '85 to '95. I actually like the Bad Animals' hits more than the formulaic hits from Heart. And the songs from '90 and '93 were some superb songs. They tended to do more power ballads like These Dreams, What About Love, Alone, and Will You Be There In the Morning, but rocked it on Who Will You Run To and Wild Child. In some ways, Ann and Nancy Wilson made some dynamic rock songs and I liked that one of the sisters got to sing lead on one song after the other one sang so many. The other band members provided solid backing on the music. The shift of producers from Ron Nevison to Richie Zito made their songs more muscular. It's good to hear that they're still at it with their latest album that came out during 2004 and that they will be touring in 2005!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - the first of a kind rock band straight out of seattle
seattle really doesn't have much to remember its music scene by except for about as many fingers as I have on one hand...Heart, Mix-a-lot, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters..those are the biggest names out of here anyway...Heart is what I consider the pioneer of Seattle music...sure seattle seems boring and it is but I'm proud to have a few good people like the ones named above represent my city..Heart is what I would hear on the radio growing up...I can't say I'm a die hard Heart fan but when I'm in the right mood I will kick back with this album and take a long drive in the rain and listen all the way through...Heart is one group that could never possibly fall off the face of the earth...heart is known to everyone at one time or another

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Die Hard Heart Fan!
This is a testament to the pioneering women of rock!!
Excellent collection!
