- Just as advertisedIt's a little on the smaller side, depending on what you want to use it for, but that's what is described. I've used this to melt chocolate, create confections for chocolate covered cherries, and even steam broccoli. This is a terrific addition to any kitchen.

- Nice looking/thin metalThis double boiler is fine if you use it occasionally. It looks nice, the price was reasonable, but the metal is somewhat thin. I like the set, but I will purchase something a little more durable for my use. I cook all the time at home and in the workplace, and value my equipment. I definitely need something of a work horse but this is a fine addition to a home that cooks occasionally.

- Great Buy for Restaurant useThis double boiler is just what we needed at the restaurant to cook and hold our grits in during normal business hours. We're short on space, so this worked out well. Lastly, the price is awesome when considering equipment costs. I'd recommend this product for home, personal, or commercial use.
