Best friend Conrad enters Jake's personal information onto an on-line gaming site that he and another friend, Dakota, have started playing.It's not like the web site is a demonic tool of Satan or something right? Right? Soon Jake starts having very vivid violent visions(Say that three times fast)of himself dying in some pretty gruesome ways.However,it's his buddies(serves them right)who actually turn up dead.In the same ways he foresaw himself dying. Jake meets hippy,fortune teller,into-all-things-occult Marisol.They set out to get to the bottom of things while avoiding evil intrusions and demonic doings.Some family secrets are better left alone.
Good amount of blood and gore.Inventive death scenes.For fans of "Scream","I Know What You Did Last Summer" and "Urban Legends".

Don't let the very bad,cheap looking front cover put you off.It's a good horror thriller.

- horribleAlright, Jensen Ackles is a terrific actor and it's interesting to see him in a different role than his Dean Winchester character. But this movie is plain BAD. I couldn't bear to watch it longer than 45 minutes. Despite Jensen Ackles! Well, I guess you can call THAT horror.
So do yourself a favor and (re-)watch "Supernatural" episodes instead.
And let's all hope "My Bloody Valentine 2009" will turn out to be a better remake than the mediocre (at best) original suggests.
Really, Jensen Ackles deserves to shine in a GOOD movie!

- A scary thrillerWell thought out but a bit dissappointing because evil endured in the end. Would have loved to see evil fall on it's nose. Storyline good and unpredictable. I liked it very much.

- save yourselfSo, I purchased this movie because I am a big fan of both Jensen Ackles and kitchy horror. What a mistake. The plot makes so little sense that Jensen himself said in an interview that he couldn't make heads or tails out of it. Save your money and rent it if you must see it, but trust me when I tell you that you don't.
