Health & Personal Care : Gerber Ultra-Thin Nursing Pads, 60 disposable pads

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - WORST nursing pad I've ever used!
This is a terrible pad. Not only does it show through an unlined bra and shirts, but it doesn't hold any leaking milk. I woke up my first night using them with my bra soaked because the pad held nothing. And I don't even have a heavy flow. I've used all types of Gerber, Curity, Medela, and Lansinoh pads, and these are definitely worse in both protection and visibility. Try Lansinoh pads... they're the best I've tried.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Cheap for a reason
If you have more than the occasional, 1-drip leak DO NOT BUY THESE! They are completely worthless. They don't absorb very well, and because of their flat shape they don't cover very well either. I woke up last night soaked thanks to these pads. I was trying to save money by buying these - not worth it! Buy the Lansinoh pads instead - I've never soaked through while wearing them.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Never Had a Problem with Leaks!
I've never had a problem with these nursing pads, and I'm nursing my second child (used for a year the first time through). The only complaint I have is that, as I'm fairly large breasted, you can see the outline of the circle through some of my shirts. Other than that, they were far more comfortable and WAY more discreet than the other brands (and I've tried samples of just about every brand).

Wal-mart doesn't seem to carry them anymore, so I'm a bit bummed, but I hope to find them someplace else.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Only good for light leakage
This is the first nursing pad I've tried. I can't give them one star, because they are indeed exceptionally thin and discreet, and for daytime wear provide adequate protection. They are worthless at night, however, when I need more substantial protection to keep from waking up drenched. I'll be trying the Lanisoh pads next as I try to keep my sheets dry.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Very good for light flow
This is the only ultra-thin nursing pad that I've seen. They are especially good if you have only light or occasional leakage, or you're at home and can change them easily. I'm actually surprised at how much they absorb given how thin they are. I don't remember them ever leaking through, but I do change them when they get wet. I use a regular nursing pad (e.g. Lansinoh or Avent) when I expect heavier flow or will be out and about and unable to change them.
