This is the battery which came up, so I purchased it.
It is not the battery for the D80, though it may be suitable for other model cameras.
Don't want anyone else to purchase the improper battery, it's dissappinting.

- NikonEN-EL3a ReplacementThis product works great despite my initial concerns. When I ordered it the description matched my existing Nikon battery. However, when it arrived, what I received was slightly different in configuration with a different but similar model number. I contacted Amazon and received a very courteous and prompt response confirming this was an udate to the older version of the battery I had and that my old charger would work with it. I tried it out and it worked great. Very pleased with the product and the service from Amazon.
