Baby : Safety 1st Simple Step Diaper Pail |
- take with a grain of salt....I actually ordered the Safety First Diaper Pail (not the simple step). When I first received it, I was surprised by the size. It wasn't until I got the liner I ordered (which is about 2x the size of the pail) that I realized that it was the wrong pail. I need this for cloth diapering...I find it hard to believe that this will hold 2 days worth of diapers, covers, wipes, liners, doublers, etc., so I'm going to send it back for the larger pail I originally ordered. So I can't speak to the smell of it, but it is pretty small. My dog will be able to get it knocked over (and dirty diapers all over the floor) in no time.

- Works pretty wellBought this originally to hold BumGenius 3.0 diapers. Since our newborn was 6lb 7oz, she has been too small to use the BumGenius so far. So we've been using disposable diapers for the past month. The diaper pail holds about 1-2 days worth of newborn diapers. There is a place for a deodorizing disk on the top of the lip. Using a deo disk does cut down on the smell, which I change out about 2 weeks. Without the deodorizing disk, there is a slight odor from the diapers after a day, but it is not overwhelming. The smell might be worse though if your baby is formula fed. The only wish I had was that the diaper pail was a tad bit bigger, but overall, this diaper pail is working very well. I would recommend this diaper pail and it isn't too expensive.

- Good pailThis is a good pail for diapers. It is a good size and keeps the smell in. We have been using the Method Aroma Ring refills in the scent container. They fit perfectly and smell nice, too.

- Good value!I think this purchase was well worth the money. This is smaller pale. We have a couple throughout the house for our baby's dirty diapers. The smell is minimal and they stay closed even when knocked over.

- Perfect Diaper PailDon't look any further - and don't waste $$ on expensive diapers pails. This is the BEST!!! It uses regular 8 gallon trashbags, works great...and holds the stink in :-) BUY THIS, you will not regret it!
*I also recommend that you buy the diaper pail deodorizing disks...they smell great. You don't really need them...but they add a little something!
