- Excellent all aroundThis works great - both delivering iPod to my receiver and playing anything else I want wherever I want. Battery life is good. The control panel is odd - looks like a removeable remote, but isn't. My only problem is I can't listen to TV, but I think that is the fault of my receiver blocking digital audio in to Zone 2 line out, not the iBall.

- 2 weeks later: I'm impressedA follow up: I've had the iBall for a couple weeks now, and it's amazing. Better than I expected and a steal at $49.99. It's worked perfectly and the sound is surprisingly good. Very impressive piece of engineering.
UPDATE: I had to return this item. It was working great. I was very happy. And then one day it wouldn't recharge. This was in the third week. The screen went dead, the reset button did nothing. West Coast Mall was very accommodating in the return however. Good store, bad product.

- Great productThe first Iball I received did not function properly. Very disappointing. The seller (West Coast Mall) quickly exchanged it with one that they tested before shipping (nice work). The second one worked exactly as described. Set up was very easy. Sound quality is excellent, given the small size of the unit. I like the separate bass and treble adjustments, which many comparable units do not have. I also like the rechargeable batteries that are easily replaced with other rechargeables or standard alkaline batteries (again, many other comparable units do not offer this feature). Reception is great. The auxilary audio input is a cool feature, allowing you to hook it up to an amplifier and feed it any audio source you want (provided it runs through the amp). We purchased it as a gift for a friend, and we do not own an ipod, so I can't attest to the other, ipod-specific features, but I haven't heard anything bad from the recipients. An excellent product, as far as I'm concerned. I wonder why they stopped making it?
