Rating: - Rent it before you buy
For me, the games are not much fun. My six year old likes them a little more but says most are "Boring". I am glad I rented this, because I cannot see playing these games for more that two weeks.
Rating: - Frustrating Fun!
Bought this game today and we've been enjoying it all day. We got through the first few worlds fairly quickly. Perhaps that's because we're used to the Wii remote especially in Mercury Meltdown which is a LOT more challenging than this game. Overall it's just really cute, nice music, cute levels, a bit frustrating, but very engaging. It's one of those games that I like to pop in after getting frustrated w/ adventure games like Prince of Persia or Tomb Raider. One star off for the mini games, we tried a few of them and they're not interesting and hard to control.
Rating: - My kid's favorite game
My girls are 11 and 13. They love this game. It's a challenge to get the ball through the different courses. The game also has mini games which you can play with two people. They enjoy using those with their friends. At first this seems challenging, but once you get the hang of it it's fun. They have tried this game for the DS and don't like it very much. The ball is hard to control on the DS and the screen is small. On the Wii the way you control the ball is just perfect and really makes use of the special control of the Wii.
Rating: - Fun but only for a short time
If this was the only Wii game available, Wii would die. It okay fun but you quickly get annoyed with the music and the monotony of the game. My kids who are 9 and 5 play it for a short time but quickly get bored. There's nothing too exciting or challenging about it. Neither my husband or I want to play it at all. Other Wii games like Mario Galaxy, Cars Mater-National, Wii Sports, etc. have a longer lasting appeal and the music doesn't annoy you to death. When my kids play it, I wish I could mute the system.
