Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great product, just a little late on delivery
I got this mouse at an amazing rate. I didn't get it for almost 10 days, but that's ok considering how much I've saved.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - No lag complete customization on a Mac!
I purchased the MX Revolution with hopes of having a better navigation experience with my new 24" iMac. I've never jumped the from the PC side mostly out of fear of losing functionality and compatibility. I was not disappointed with my new purchase save one, the imac mighty mouse. It was terrible, slow, tracking was hit and miss. So I ordered the MX Revolution from Amazon. This mouse has been more like a revelation! It is exact, comfortable and completely customizable. The use of 8 or so buttons to do whatever you want is incredible. It has so much functionality and has turned my browsing into something I enjoy doing. I can't recommend it to Mac owners enough!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - awsome
i had many logitech products and this is the far the best product i ever had

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent mouse, worthy of the Logitech brand
This mouse has a good hefty weight to it, so that might be a problem for gamers who like to twitch a lot. It is EXCELLENT for general desktop use (that includes web surfing, light 'shopping, spreadsheets, etc.)

I was playing a few of my favorite FPSes and RTSes with the MX Revolution, and I'm pretty pleased with it, from a gamer point of view. I can sweep-snipe the bots with the Q3A railgun just fine, and zerg rush my hapless melee opponent like how I usually do. Also the rechargeable battery is a definite plus.

The mouse's aesthetics are also excellent. This is a mouse that an executive with a corner office will use, methinks. It looks quite elegant (even more so with the included charging cradle.) As for usability, the many buttons will probably scare the casual user, as they will not know what the heck to do with all these buttons. Your typical power user, however, will definitely welcome the many buttons to program macros, binding /say "lol 0wned", etcetera. And by using Logitech's powerful SetPoint suite, you can customize the mouse to your heart's content.

Left handed people are out of luck though, as the curvatures are for people with a dominant right hand .. .

One feature of the mouse which I think deserves special recognition is the mousewheel. When pressed down, instead of a third mouse button, you activate the mechanism that switches between frictionless mode for scrolling through multi-page websites or thousand cell spreadsheets, and the traditional click-to-click mousewheel function. Using the mousewheel is a joy in itself, and further adds to the user experience. You can FEEL the beautiful engineering.

All in all, Logitech's MX Revolution is EXCELLENT. Well designed by Logitech, it is a mouse I will be using for a very, very long time.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Mouse
I've had quite a few mice, and this one is just amazing, here are the pros and cons:

Pros:

- Extremely comfortable - Unlike other mice this is a good size for your hand and is very ergonomic. A friend of mine has the Logitech VX Revolution which I find to be way too small to use.

- Customizable Buttons - You can set up the buttons to do whatever you need them, even enter in keyboard commands like ctrl+c. This is great for games, I set the little silver button in the center to act as a double click. Being able to double click with one push may sound silly and unnecessary, but in some fast paced games where an accurate double click is necessary it can help a great deal more than you might think.

- The Scroll Wheel - The scroll wheel has two modes, standard scrolling and "fast" scrolling, which allows the wheel to spin faster by giving no resistence. If you flick the wheel it will continue to spin for sometime before slowing down. The best part is that you can set the wheel however you'd like, you can keep it in standard scrolling, keep it in "fast" scrolling, or choose an option which switches automatically to the "fast" scrolling once you spin the wheel fast enough.

- Precision - Unlike some other laser mice I've had, this one is very precise and has never given me any trouble at all. I do use a mousepad, but it also works fine on my desk. I have never had any problems of receiving a signal, and the mouse can work across the room (about 15 feet, though I've never tried anything further). I have never noticed any lag, and the sensitivity is very customizable.

Cons:

- Portability - This mouse is on the larger side, I wouldn't consider it big, and I do use it with my laptop, but if I were moving around a lot I wouldn't recommend it, and would probably go with a smaller mouse (VX Revolution maybe). Also, the rechargable battery means you need to bring the charging dock with you if you go on vacation or will be gone awhile, which brings me to my next point. Also, some mice have a storage slot on the bottom side of the mouse for the USB receiver, this one does not.

- Rechargable - Arguable whether this is a pro or a con. I put it with the cons because I had a microsoft mouse which could last 3 months on 2 AA batteries, and I would use it about 4 hours a day. This Logitech mouse can last 7-10 days using it about 4 hours each day, of course I just need to put it on a charger for a few hours. It has a very convenient battery life indicator right on the mouse, so it's easy to notice when the mouse is down. I wish I didn't have to bring the charger with me if I'm going to be gone more than a week.

Final Words:

I would give this 4.5 stars out of 5. It lost half a star for the two reasons posted above. For me at least, these issues are minor and almost insignificant, but they may be more important to you. Also note that certain things are simply my opinion, I prefer a larger mouse that fits comfortably in my hand (I consider myself to have pretty normal sized hands for an adult male) and I dislike the recharging issue. I tried to be as unbiased as possible, but the best thing to do is go to any store that sells mice and check out the display mice to see how it feels in YOUR hand, that's what matters. I would buy online because the prices are much less than stores like office max or best buy.

Cheers :)
