Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Wonderful seller, crapy product
Unfortunately for the sender, this remote wasn't so great. It's in need of batteries already and only after riding with it 2 times. When it works though, it works great.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Poor Quality Control
The product worked fine out of the box except for the Fast Forward/Skip Track button. It would only work in FF mode if you pressed it extremely hard - and by that I mean you have to grasp the whole unit from front to back and pinch the button as hard as you can. It would not do the Skip Track function at all.

Amazon sent a replacement out which arrived a few days later. Great customer service! Except the replacement did not work at all.

Would have given this 0 stars if that was an option.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - One word... TERRIBLE!
I've owned this remote for a few years now and it worked pretty well at first, but no is absolutely unreliable and useless. I attempted to use it today with a brand new battery and it wouldn't consistently pause/play and the volume is absolutely ridiculous! Just as many have said, if you touch the volume control, the iPod will usually turn all the way up or all the way down. I, too, am a snowboarder and having the volume at full blast within a helmet that you can't quickly remove is pretty painful.

I DO NOT recommend this device. It does not work and is a waste of money. I just bought a different device tonight to replace this piece of garbage. Hopefully, that one will be better. I went with Belkin.

Belkin SportsCommand Wireless Control for iPod

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Monster iEZClick Not Recommended
This product does not work very well. Remote only works sometimes. Replaced battery with no improvement. Volume button has habit of sticking on blasting your ears so be careful. I have read other reviews with simular experiences.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great Wireless IPOD Remote for the skier or snow boarder!
This is that best wireless remote I have been able to find for the IPOD. The buttons are large enough to use even with a gloved hand, even if the remote is placed under a thin shell jacket. It controls all the basic IPOD functions: start/pause, volume up/down, forward/back. The remote control is meant to attach to the Velcro strap with a metal clip. WARNING - Do not use the clip unless you want to lose your remote for it will almost certainly fall off the Velcro band. But there is an easy solution to this, simply remove the clip from the back of the remote, as shown in the instructions, and run the Velcro band directly through the holes in the back of the remote control unit. You now have the remote Velcro'd onto your arm, just about as secure as it can get. If your arm is too small you may need to make a modification to the strap. A Must have item for those who like to ski with their IPOD!
