DVD : Kathy Smith - Latin Rhythm Workout |
- Que??I've loved Kathy Smith for 20 years but this wasn't something I'd recommend. I do know how to dance salsa, merengue and cha-cha, but I found this DVD to be very confusing. I'd prefer to put on some music and just dance, rather than try to follow her weird combo of "dance-aerobics". It seems like she threw together a Latin-inspired routine to be trendy. This just didn't gel for me. It doesn't feel like real dancing, yet it doesn't feel like aerobics.

- Fun workoutThis is not as intense a workout as I would like, but if you like Latin music and are familiar with Latin dance you will enjoy this as variety to your regular workout. It was quite fun. If you are looking for high intensity workout and you are NOT a beginner, you should go elsewhere.

- Great workout!I rented this video through Netflicks and liked it so much that I decided to buy it. I don't even notice the time pass while I'm working out because its so much fun. Some of the steps are a little hard to get at first but now that I've done it a few time I have the hang of it. She keeps it interesting by doing a variety of latin dances and the "experts" she has with her are such great dancers!!

- Easy to follow and alot of fun, but yet still a workoutI loved this cd. It is easy to follow and the intensity gradually progresses. I love that the cd contained two workouts. I really enjoyed the instructional section at the end of the tape for couples. I highly recommend this video for all.

- very good workoutAs all of Kathy's DVD, this one is done beautifullly well. I agree with the person who commented that Kathy is a professional, a very trained lady and does not deserve the extremely negative reviews I've seen on this DVD. For some reason, I've noticed that all the ladies who do latin workout DVDs, or multi-dance workouts, with latin in it, somehow they get really low star reviews, some of them quite insulting, and it just makes me wonder about the competition. I found Kathy to be very good and the two people she chose to dance next to her quite professional and pleasant.
