- excellent entertainmentI rank this as the best police/ crime series I have seen, and I have seen quite a number of them. One outstanding feature is the characters. Also, Forest Whittaker has given an excellent performance.
I"ll recommend it to anyone interested in such films.

- Um, it's the Shield, The best show ever!!There is nothing else to say. Vic Mackey is the role model cop for all law enforcement officers out there. Follow his lead or get a bullet in the head. Nice.... ;p
My 5yr old loves this series and wants to be a cop just like Vic one day...
I'd recommend this to children under 10 if they want to be cops.

- amazingI love this season. Am a huge fan of shield and if you are too you will enjoy this season. Season 5 centers around the IAD investigation launched on the Strike Team over former detective Terry Crowley's murder. Vic, Shane and the rest of the Strike team find themselves embroiled in an investigation marked by sometimes ruthless scrutiny by IAD detective Lt. Jon Kavanaugh (Forest Whitaker). During this investigation, some of Vic's prior crimes are brought to the light by Kavanaugh such as the money train heist and events that lead up to the deaths of his past CIs (confidential informants). Kavanaughs main focus is on that of fellow strike team member Curtis Lemansky to use his sense of morals to his advantage by getting him to reveal to Kavanaugh the true motives of the Strike Team. The theme here is "conscience is a killer". Its up to you to find out who that applies to.

- Mind numbingThis is the greatest season of the whole show, with season 6 getting better now. This season is unrelentless in its power and its one large fire burning that simply won't go out. This is the best of the best.
