- Best Case out there for the G9I bought this case, and it works great. It has a velcrow and magnetic button to secure case closure. It's tough leather, and fits nicely on the belt. It's not really designed for around the neck or shoulder carrying, but you could. There's no zipper like other cases and it's really easy to pop out of the case for a quick shot.

- Try The Psc 75 caseThe Canon PSC-75 Deluxe Soft Case for PowerShot S1 IS, S2 IS, and G6 seems to work fine for the g9 and is cheaper. due to the slightly extra depth, there is plenty room for the neckstrap, and the small pouch inside works fine for an extra battery and sd card. I've really pushed it an managed to jam the charger in as well, but be careful not to scratch the motitor screen!!

- G9 Case is awesomeThis case is perfect if you need a protection for your G9 and that old school look.I use it as a case within a larger gear bag with my other cameras and also solo.It can fit on your belt so you can access the G9 very quickly when you see a shot you wanna get.It also comes with a handy spare battery pouch that clips onto the main case.... nice job canon.
